Policy on the use of Al and Machine Learning

Ancient Art Midwifery and partnered Community Birth Schools focus on inspiring deep understanding rather than completing tasks without comprehension. This is why a review system, not a grading system, is used. The increase in assistive technology has led to increasing conflicts between expected assignments and actual submissions. To address this, a new policy will be put in place immediately.

Students must submit original work to avoid penalties. Proper attribution to source material, including direct quotes from authors or interviewees, statistical information and research, is required. Copy-pasted or Al-generated assignments will trigger an initial reminder that only original work is accepted and incur increasing fines of $25, $50, and $75 for subsequent violations.

The collected fees will directly compensate your instructors for the extra time spent handling these issues and no additional work may be submitted when fees are owed. If there is a fourth violation you will be removed from the program to ensure the integrity of our graduates is maintained.
